Bret came to Modesto Police Department originally on October 13, 1987 as a Property and Evidence Specialist. He then became a Police Officer on August 1, 1989. He left August 29, 1996 for less than a year to work with Washington State Police. He returned on April 1, 1997 as a Police Officer and retired on May 3, 2013.
He was a member of the MPD Equestrian Unit and a pleasure to work with and he always had a smile for everyone.
