Stanley served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in 1960.
On December 28, 1963, he and Marlys Tweeter were married. The couple made their home in the cities while Stan worked for Toro Manufacturing. In the early 1970s, they moved back to Montevideo where Stan worked for Chandler Industries until his retirement. In his leisure time, Stan enjoyed hunting, fishing, his springer spaniels, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife Marlys and his sister Marie.
Stan was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings and several family members.
