RUTH E. BISHOP, 53, of Memphis, died Friday at Methodist Hospital after a long illness. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park. Mrs. Bishop, the wife of Walter 'Sonny' Bishop, also leaves a daughter, Dori Hendrix of Mason, Tenn.; four sons, Steven Scarborough, John Scarborough, Mark Scarborough and Greg Bishop, and a sister, Beverly McNamee, all of Memphis; a brother, Earl Gutliph Jr. of Panama City, Fla., and three grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
