Mary Ann Benson passed away Thursday February 27, 2014 after a long battle with cancer.
Mary was born Aug 31, 1936, and lived in Independence, Mo., all of her life. Mary was the daughter of Lyle Marion and Marie Keir, who preceded her in death. Mary graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1954 and was active in planning class reunions for 50 years. She was married to Roy S. Benson in 1955. They enjoyed camping at their place in Warsaw, Mo., with family and friends for 20 years.
She is survived by her husband Roy; daughters Deborah Marshall and husband Carey, and Sherry Parnell, and husband Jimmy; son Ross Benson and wife Carol; and four grandsons Clint, and Travis Parnell, and Addison, and Austin Benson.
Graveside services will be family only, In lieu of flowers, family request donations to Crossroads Hospice.
