She worked for 15 yrs. as a data entry clerk and retired from R.A.F.B.
9 year resident of Alamo, Ga. and was in charge of the Alamo resident council.
She loved and wrote poetry and had several poems published.
She won 1st place for "God in America".
She ADORED Elvis and Princess Diana and collected everything she could on both of them.
She is survived by 2 sons, Robert M. Strange of Alamo, GA. and Kevin L. (Geri) Strange of New Smynra Beach, FL. Sister, Patsy (Jason) McCord of Conyers, GA., step-grand daughter, Abby Irene Nelson, of Springfiled, MO.
Stanley Funeral Home of Dublin had charge of the arrangements.
She was buried next to her beloved brother, James Hammond.
*NAN ( aka Mama ) was my 2nd mother. When my mother died 10/ 06, my friend offered me his mother whenever I needed a "mom fix". We had spoken on the phone on several occasions and she was a lovely, God fearing, Christian based woman.*
