Ronald L. Simpson, age 77, formerly of Two Rivers, passed away Monday afternoon, April 17, 2017 at Mayberry Manor Assisted Living of Fond du Lac.

Ronald was born on January 15, 1940 in Illinois, son of the late Keith and Katherine Mary (Stone) Simpson. On May 17, 1992, he married the former Virginia Martha Delsmann in Mishicot. Ron worked in farming industry and as a truck driver, and for various factories in the area. Ron enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife: Virginia Simpson, Two Rivers; two daughters and one son-in-law: Fawn Simpson, Manitowoc; Robin (Moses) Tijerina, Big Springs, TX; one son and daughter-in-law: Shane (Marlana) Simpson, Green Bay; one step-daughter: Tiffany Dotson and her special friend: Jason, Two Rivers; two step-sons: Scott Charles and his special friend; Hanna, Sheboygan; Paul Schamburek and his special friend; Raquel, Denmark; one brother and sister-in-law: Kirby (Linda) Simpson, Beloit; one sister: Karen Simpson, Whitewater; five grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; Neko the cat, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Keith Simpson and Katherine Pollak; one daughter: Lorretta Simpson; one brother: Jerry Simpson; one niece: Sandra Bower.

A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday April 23, 2017 at Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. The Rev. Dr. Matthew Sauer will officiate with entombment of his cremated remains to follow at the Knollwood Mausoleum.
