Kay Lynn "Katy" Mayfield was born August 11, 1960 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the second of the three children born to Vernon Roy Mayfield and Paula Edwards. She had a brother Vernon Aubrey and a sister Tami Diane Mayfield. Katy departed this life October 19, 1960, a victim of SIDS, and was laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
