Miranda C. Benyon of Columbus, NJ passed away suddenly Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at home. She was 30.
Preceded in death by her mother Susan and grandmother Ruth, Miranda is survived by special friends Richard and Rose Jones, and Carl Unkle. Also survived by Aunt Judy, Uncles Larry and Bobby, a host of cousins, many dear friends and her beloved dog Skyla.
Miranda was born in Mount Holly, NJ and graduated from Bordentown Regional High School. She obtained a bachelor's degree with a double major in Music and Science. She had worked as a Nursing Assistant in the Princeton Health Care System before she was overcome by her illnesses. She found her true calling in singing, lending her beautiful voice to two choruses, Jersey Harmony and Jersey Sound. When a conflict of schedule arose, she decided to opt for tap dancing which also brought her much joy. She was looking forward to this year's June recital at Dance Xperience.
Miranda touched many lives, from school, work and even her network of friends who shared her same disease.
"My chains are gone, I've been set free. My God, my Savior, has ransomed me...unending love, Amazing Grace." (John Newton, Chris Tomlin)
She is now free to soar on eagle's wings and be held the palm of God's hand.
Rest easy, my love. We will miss you terribly but you will forever be in our hearts. (daddy and mama)
