Funeral services for John Griffin were conducted Saturday afternoon at the Brethern meeting room, 130 West Idaho street. Pallbearers included Donald Norton, Ivan Johnson, Mylo Geiken, Charles Easlick, Bert Guy and Oscar Hadley Jr. Interment was in the Conrad Memorial cemetery.
John Griffin was born in Crab Orchard, Nebraska February 6, 1876. On October 10, 1903 they came to Kalispell and had lived here since that time.
He was employed as a carpenter until ill health forced him to retire.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie; One daughter, Mrs Ruth E.j Clausen, Altadena, California, and five grandchildren. Mr. Griffin died at home Tuesday evening as the age of 74.
