Marriage #1 - George Emmett (possibly Everett or H.) McAlpine on 5 July 1912, Walla Walla, WA; however his immigration papers that the two were already married when he entered Idaho from Canada in April 1911. He was b. 29 Apr 1878 Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada; d. 30 Mar 1948 Portland, OR. On their Washington marriage license George declared his birthplace as being Manitoba, Canada, he was living in Spokane, WA, and Miss Eunice L. Allen indicated she was living in Baker, OR. In 1916 they were living in Seattle, WA where he was a carpenter. In the 1920 census they were on a farm in Yamhill, OR with their 6 years old child, George W. McAlpine. The couple divorced George remarried on 3 Apr 1937 in Clark, WA to Gene Hanler Chamberlain. He had a third marriage to by 1942 to Irene. is grand-daughter remembers that he was known to be good math and worked at one time determining loads for ships. He also was a heavy drinker.

Marriage #2 - Alfred M. (or Alfred William)"Bill" Caviness on 15 Sept 1927, McMinneville, OR. b. 25 Oct 1888 Boulder, CO, d. 11 Feb 1953. She was Alfred's 2nd wife. Alfred was a marine engineer holding a degree from University of Washington. In 1930 the couple was living in Latham, Lane, OR. She died while being married to Alfred. He remarried by 1936 to Vivian G. Carlisle (Euna's cousin. He found work as a machinist, engr, and marine engineer. In 1943 he was working as the latter on the "For McHenry" bound for Honolulu. Bill was a very religious man and was remiss in obtaining medical care for his children preferring in the strength of their religious beliefs. This probably contributed to their untimely deaths.

Euna died of uterine cancer at the age of 41 years.
