Gerald B. Hostettler, 45, of Geff, IL, died at the Fairfield Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Hostettler was born Feb. 4, 1940, in Illinois, to Hubert and Leah Hickenbottom Hostettler. He married Carolyn Hale August 15, 1961 in Spartanburg, S.C.

He was assistant plant manager of Webb Printing Controls in Fairfield, retired after 21 years from the U. S. Navy, and a member of the Latter Day Saints in Mt. Carmel, the Cisne American Legion, and the Flora V.F.W.

Surviving are his wife; mother, Leah Boudreau; daughter, Deana Hostettler; son, Richard Hostettler; sisters, Sue Cianfarani and Sandy Johnson; one half sister, Cheryl Bouregeois; a brother, George; a half brother, Stephen Boudreau; and his grandmother, Mrs. Alice Thomas.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services were held at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne with burial at the Gunion Cemetery with full military rites.
