Bill is my son-in-law. He and my daughter were highschool sweethearts and were married January 28, 1984. They have 5 great kids and 8 precious grandchildren. Family is everything to Bill and Shelley and they are all very close.
Bill was a victim of esophageal cancer and fought a courageous battle for 13 months. He is preceded in death by his dad, sisters Debbie and Shirley, and brother Wayne, Jr.
He is survived by his wife Shelley; sons Bill Jr, Dylan, and Jesse; daughters Laura (Geoff) Baca and Kristal (Chris) Sgarlata; as well as grandchildren Kyle and Abigail Bailey; Becca, Geoffrey, Leila, and Greyson Baca; and Christopher and Peyten Sgarlata; his mother Martha Bailey, sister Nonie (Lynn) Taylor-Woolf, and brother Joseph Bailey; as well as aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews and many friends.
Bill was cremated and is at home with his family where he belongs.
Bill was a kind and generous man always willing to lend a hand where needed without asking anything in return. He had a knack for making friends and will be missed by many.
