McGHEE, Robert Ray 36, of Springfield, passed away April 23, 2017. He was born June 4, 1980 in Springfield, the son of William LeRoy McGhee and Connie Harris. Robert enjoyed basketball and country music and had been employed at Quest. Survivors include his mother; Connie Harris, siblings; Danny Lee (Tammi) McGhee, William Leroy (Angela) McGhee II, William Leroy (Betsy) McGhee III Benny McGhee, Sandy Krueger and Cheryl Deane, numerous nieces and nephews and special friend and caregiver; Melanie Whitmore. He was preceded in death by brothers; Johnny C. and Christopher T. McGhee and his father. Funeral services will be held at 1:30PM Thursday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor David Miller officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
