Born in New Bedford, MA a daughter of the late Walter H. Seddon and Blanche A. (Peloquin) Seddon.
Mrs. Bouchard had previously resided in Warwick, RI and East Greenwich, RI prior to moving to Fall River.
Mrs. Bouchard was very active in her community as a Red Cross volunteer organizing the program at the Providence, RI Veteran Hospital for many years. She was an avid gardener and member of the Cindy Wood garden club in East Greenwich, RI.
She was a member of the Varnum Continentals of East Greenwich, RI and president of the Parents Association in South Attleboro, MA. She was also a skilled seamstress and enjoyed flower arranging.
Her children and grandchildren were the love of her life playing with them and teaching them to cook and sew.
Mrs. Bouchard is survived by one son, Donald W. Bouchard of Crystal Lake, Illinois; one daughter, Janet L. Pietsch of Dartmouth, MA; one sister, Aurora Durham; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Walter Seddon, Inez Caplet, Norbert Seddon, and Theresa Henry.
Mrs. Bouchard's funeral service, which relatives and friends are invited to attend, will be held on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Adams House, 1168 Highland Ave., Fall River, MA. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence, RI.
