A U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Wilkins was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church, and retired truck driver with Arrow Automotive.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Harvie Ann Johnson Wilkins; children, Lisa Wilkins Heatly (Richard) of Inman, SC, Libby Wilkins Arms (Dale) of Knoxville, TN, and Charles H. “Chuck” Wilkins, Jr. (Rianne) of Inman, SC; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Wilkins of Forest City, NC; numerous beloved nieces and nephews; and his beloved Yorkie, the love of his life, “Mia”. He was predeceased by one brother and two sisters.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, April 28, 2017, at Floyd’s Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Floyd’s Boiling Springs Chapel, by the Rev. Matthew Bishop. Burial will be in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery, 9321 Hwy 9, Inman, SC 29349.
