Ilene V. Lenzner, age 91, a longtime resident of the Pigeon Lake area in the town of Liberty, entered eternal life on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.Ilene was born on July 5, 1925 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was the daughter of the late John and Lena Larson Johnson. Ilene was a graduate of Balsam Lake High School in Balsam Lake, Minnesota with the class of 1944. On February 16, 1946 she married Robert R. Lenzner at Antigo, WI. He preceded her in death on September 28, 1997. She enjoyed going out to lunch every Tuesday with her girlfriends known as the Golden Girls. Ilene enjoyed playing cards with friends and family. Weekends were a special time with friends and family that gathered at Pigeon Lake. Ilene's family meant the world to her and her biggest joy was the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by five children: Kathleen (Myron) Hickman, Newton; Steven (Kristine) Lenzner, Valders; Karen (Thomas) Driscoll, Valders; Randall (Linda) Lenzner, Valders; Mary (Randolph) Rosenbauer, Valders; nineteen grandchildren, forty seven great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Lena Johnson; husband: Robert R. Lenzner; son: Thomas R. Lenzner; four sisters and three brothers.Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Dave Beaudry. Burial will take place at Knollwood Cemetery on Friday.
