MISHAWAKA, IN - Mary J. Wise, 64, of East 10th Street, Mishawaka,Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 25th, 2017 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. She was born on August 15, 1952 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Elwin and Arlene (Buxton) Anderson who both preceded her in death. Mary worked in the R.V. industry until her retirement. She was an avid Notre Dame Football and Chicago Cubs fan. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, watching them play sports. She loved spending time with her family and was known as “Momma Mary” to many people. She is survived by her children: Richard (Heather) Wise of Cadillac, Michigan, Tina (Joe) Dover of Mishawaka, Tara (Dan Witkowski) Wise of Goshen and Michael and Amy Handley of Mishawaka. Also surviving are ten grandchildren; Gabby Wise, Brittany Anderson, Hannah Dover, Koty Wise, Tessa Wise, Chase Dover, Bradyn Wise, Lauren Wise, Grace Handley, Faith Handley, two great grandchildren; Konner and Scarlett Jane. Also surviving is her husband, Nathan “Skip” along with her sisters; Suzanne (Jimmy) Maxson of Monticello, Indiana, Barbara (Chuck) Parker of Osceola and Debi Anderson of Mishawaka. She was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Dorbin and a brother, Tom Anderson. Funeral services for Mary will be held at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, Indiana on Saturday, April 29th, 2017 at 11:00am. Friends will be received from 2:00pm until 8:00pm on Friday at the funeral Home.
