Mrs. Cora Belle Pigman, 79 years old, wife of Albert T. Pigman, 1530 Eastern Avenue, died at 3 a. m., Saturday, following an illness of six years. Born in Franklin County near Bath, she was a daughter of James M. and Elizabeth Burt Morgan and lived in Union county during her girlhood. She and Mr. Pigman were classmates at District No. 1 school in Harmony township, which was known as the Pigman school. They were married Apr. 2, 1890. She and Mr. Pigman were the oldest members of the First Baptist church and she was past president of the Fidelis Sunday school class. Besides her husband she is survived by one son, E. Virgil Pigman, of near Connersville; a sister, Mrs. Jesse White of Shelbyville; a grandson and a great-grandson.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pigman will be conducted at 2 p. Tuesday in the First Baptist church with Rev. Orrin Anderson and Rev. William Melton officiating. Burial will be in Dale cemetery.
Besides her husband she is survived by one son, E. Virgil Pigman, of near Connersville; a sister, Mrs. Jesse White of Shelbyville; a grandson and a great grandson. Funeral services for Mrs. Pigman will be conducted at 2 p. m., Tuesday in the First Baptist church with Rev. Orrin Anderson and Rev. William Melton officiating. Burial will be in Dale cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p. m. Sunday until 1 p. m.
