Mrs. Young , lovingly known as "Noonie", resident of 100D Agape Lane West Columbia, SC, died March 30, 2007. She was the widow of Charles Young . Mrs. Young was born September 10, 1910, in Shalotte, NC, to the late John C. Woodard and Daisy Bennett Woodard. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and was a devoted homemaker. Earlier in her life she was employed as Young Adult Director of the YWCA in Charlotte, NC.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Day and Rudolph Walters of Columbia, SC; stepdaughter, Barbara Stone of Palm Harbor, FL; grandsons, Rudy Walters of Lugoff, SC, and David Walters and wife, Joanne, of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Anne Parrish of Waynesville, NC, and Jean Maddox and husband, Sam, of Norfolk, VA; great-grandchildren, Ashley and husband, Tony Shrypek, Rudy Walters, Jr. and Tara Talbert.
