Mohawk— The death of Mrs. Alma Griffin, 87, native of the Town of German Flatten occurred in her home on Shoemaker Hill Jan. 22, 1941. She was injured in a fall on the ice about a month ago.
Mrs. Griffin was born Nov. 15. 1853, in the home in which she died, a daughter of Jacob and Elmira Orendorf Bellinger. Her marriage to Alanson Griffin took place at Mohawk 68 years ago. Mr. Griffin died eight years ago. 8he attended the Fort Herkimer Reformed Church before services were discontinued.
A son, Irving Griffin, with whom she resided, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren survive.
The funeral .......burial will be in the Heath Cemetery, Shoemaker Hill.
