Esther enjoyed bowling, playing cards and marbles and most important spending time with family.
She is survived by her eight children; daughter Linda & Robert Carvalho of Hanford, son Merlen & Lena Vander Tuig of Klamath Falls, daughters Shirley & Art Speegle of Hanford, Nelvina & Jack Alford of Hanford, son Lawrence & Rhonda Vander Tuig and daughter Alice & Butch Dias of Visalia, sons John & Kathy Vander Tuig of Tulare and Duane & Sally Vander Tuig of Modesto. She leaves behind 25 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren
She is preceded in death by her husband, Milen Vander Tuig of 65 years, three siblings Charles and Frans Aardema and Emma Bouma. Also grandchildren Jennifer Suzanne, Jessica Dawn Koning, Rachelle Lynn Dias and Chad Anthony Venegas.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 5-7pm at People's Funeral Chapel. Graveside Friday, May 5, 2017 at 9am at Hanford Cemetery followed by Funeral Service at 10am at First Christian Reformed Church.
