Templeton, Dolphus D., 69, Oklahoma City. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 13, at the Primrose Chapel with Rev. Dennis Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Moore City Cemetery, under the direction of Primrose Funeral Service. Mr. Templeton died Thursday, May 9, at Norman. He was born on April 23, 1922 to Everett and Jessie Templeton at Rattan, Oklahoma. Mr. Templeton was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving in the European theater. He was awarded two bronze service stars and the Purple H eart. Mr. Templeton married Effie Mae Pearson on December 3, 1942 in Vinita, Oklahoma. He was retired from the Oklahoma City Abstract Company. Survivors include his wife, Effie, of the home; two sons, Durrell Templeton of Moore, Lewis "Tim" Templeton of Ozawkie, Kansas; a daughter, Nona Corbin of Blanchardville, Wisconsin; two sisters, Marie Duncan of Norman, Helen Jean Clark of Norman; four brothers, E.A. Templeton, Jr. of Tecumseh, Bobby Templeton of Shawnee, Charlie Templeton of Moore, Lonnie Templet on of Norman; six grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Templeton, and a daughter, Peggy Jean Templeton in 1948.
