OBITUARY
Raymond A. Adams
Services for Raymond Alford Adams, 82, of McKnight Lane, Readyville, who died at home Sunday, are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Mike Holloway will officiate.
His parents were the late Alford and Martha Adams.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mamie Bowman Adams; two sons, Roy and David Adams, both of Readyville; four daughters, Lillie Quarles, Pearl James, June Scott, all of Murfreesboro, Joyce Jones of Christiana; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
A member of Wards Grove Baptist Church, he was a retired farmer and a school bus driver.
Grandsons will be pallbearers, with nephews serving as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be held after 6 tonight at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
