Daniel was a graduate of Longmeadow High School and went on to graduate with a degree in Art, from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He was employed as a Criminal Investigator in the Asset Protection Division of Stop and Shop. Prior to that, Daniel was an Underwriter for the Phoenix Insurance Co. Daniel loved his twin sons more than anything in the world. He was active at Charles Wright Elementary School and coached Little League teams in town. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriot fan and was a great artist. Daniel was proud of his Irish heritage. He was best described as happy, fun, easy going, and loving.
Besides his wife Hannah, Daniel leaves his sons Rory and Logan, his mother Rosemary Granfield and her husband David Cornell of Maderia Beach, Florida. and his mother and father-in-law, David and Deborah Frenette of Granby. He was predeceased by his father Alexander and his sister Erinn.
Daniel’s family would like to thank his many friends and the community of Wethersfield for their continued love and good vibes along with the staff at the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center for their care.
