LINDA L. (DOTLICH) LEWERENZ, age 62, of Deer River, MN, died Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Grand Itasca Hospital in Grand Rapids, MN.
Linda was born in 1948 to Mirko Dotlich and Lucy Rosengren in Grand Rapids, MN. She graduated from Greenway High School. Linda was married to Luverne 'Lou' Lewerenz, Jr. from 1970 until 1980. They made their home in Minneapolis and she later attended Hennepin County Technical College. Linda was employed as a legal secretary. She lived in Florida for four years and returned to the Grand Rapids area to be closer to family. She enjoyed making stained glass and beaded jewelry.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy.
She is survived by her daughter, Erica (Michael Stroh) Lewerenz of Burnsville, MN; her father, Mirko Dotlich of Bovey, MN; her brother, William 'Duke' (Kim) Dotlich of Grand Rapids, MN; two half-sisters, Deanne (Gordon) Meredyk of Minneapolis, MN and Penny Watts of Minneapolis, MN; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
