Butch loved the outdoors, including hunting and fishing. He taught Ann and Judy to fish, and often took them outdoors to look for wildlife, and to go horseback riding. He loved nibs black licorice candy, and his Lucky Strikes! He was a huge Johnny Cash fan, playing his records quite often. He also loved his Oldsmobile cars. He was an awesome stepdad!
After the divorce Butch remained in Connecticut, where he eventually remarried and started another family.

JANAK Stephen B. Janak, 69, of Derby, died October 13, 2004. He was born September 18, 1935, in Johnstown, Pa., son of the late Stephen and Caroline Pisarski Janakovich. Prior to his retirement, he worked for the BP Corp. Survivors include one daughter, Jennifer Shea, of Naugatuck; and one brother, Ronald Janakovich, of Johnstown, Pa. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Bednar-Osiecki Funeral Home, 87 South Cliff Street, Ansonia, with the Rev. Robert Condron, Pastor of Assumption Church, Ansonia, officiating. Burial will be private.
