She was born Jan. 1,1921 in Glasgow, WV to Herbert H. and Icie (Hudnall) Rutledge. She was a homemaker and had worked at Anchor Hocking Glass. She enjoyed singing gospel songs, dancing and shopping.
She leaves her five daughters; Judy (George) Neutz; Martha McCoy; Shirley (Brice) Wellons; Pat (Bill) Pierce and Faye (Garry) Musser; seven step-children: Gary (Dreme) Young; Fred (Patti) Davis; Charles (Jenny) Davis; Alice (Paul) Franks; Sandy (Frank) Potter; Darlene (Richard) Hart and Pam (Rod) Carpenter; 2 sisters: Nancy (Mike) Nelson; Betty "Doll" Louise (Delbert) Ferrell and one brother Jim (Evelyn) Rutledge; 33 grandchildren; several step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded by her parents, her first husband Frank Snodgrass; second husband Chester Davis; 4 brothers; 2 sisters and 2 daughters Frances Brandenburg and Roberta Mitchell.
