OBITUARY

Winchester - Julia V. Davis, 96, of Winchester went to be with her Lord and Savior May 8, 2017, at Randolph Nursing Home in Winchester.

She was born on January 1, 1921, in Glasgow, West Virginia to Icie (Hudnall) and Herbert H. Rutledge. She was a homemaker and had worked at Anchor Hocking Glass in Winchester. She enjoyed singing gospel songs, dancing and shopping.

Survivors include five daughters Judy (George) Neutz; Martha MCoy; Shirley (Brice) Wellons; Pat (Bill) Pierce and Faye (Garry) Musser; seven stepchildren Gary (Drema) Young; Fred (Patti) Davis; Charles (Jenny) Davis; Alice (Paul) Franks; Sandy (Frank) Potter; Darlene (Richard) Hart and Pam (Rod) Carpenter; two sisters Nancy (Mike) Nelson; Betty "Doll" Louise (Delbert) Ferrell and one brother Jim (Evelyn) Rutledge; thirty three grandchildren Rick (Sharon) Horr, Judith Horr, Sherri Horr, James Horr, Chuck Neutz, George (Alisa) Neutz, Darian Mallory, Kevin (Debbie) Mallory, Chad Sherburne, Stacey (Jason) Meek, Bill (Kathrine) Wellons, Gordon Wellons, Andy (Wendy) Wellons, Allen (Tersa) Sherburne, Lonny Parker, Tanna (Mark) Day, Tonya Ackman (friend Bill), Dusty Ackman, Patricia (Jon) Walters, Melinda (Rayn) Sidwell, Garry F. (Natalie) Musser and several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Frank Snodgrass and second husband Chester Davis and four brothers, two sisters and two daughters Frances Brandenburg and Roberta Mitchell.

Funeral services for Julia will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester with Pastor Jerry Brumfield officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester, Indiana.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Walker Funeral Home in Winchester is entrusted with the arrangements.
