Funeral services were held at ? Montie Ray Whittington, 64, former Chino resident who died Sunday in Costa Mesa (sic). Rev. Harold Loy of Chino Methodist Church conducted the services with interment following in Pomona cemetery. Mr. Whittington is survived by his widow Mrs. Elsie Whittington, Newport Beach; a daughter, Mrs. Georgia Reeves, Reno, Nev.; two sons, Jim and Woody Whittington, Chino, two sisters, Mrs. Georgia Day, Justin, Texas, and Mrs. Berniece (sic) Rizer, Rosemead; and two brothers, J. P. Whittington, Justin, and Floyd Whittington, Justin. Whittington came to Chino in 1927 from Ft. Worth, Texas. For the past five years, he had made his home in Newport Beach.
