He was in the service during WWII and married Lucile Emma Patten while on leave. In 1981 he married Waloise "Dode" sackett. He was a manger of the Red Owl, then retired as a salesman from G&K Services in 1985.
He was a member of the America Legion, Shriners and Masons.
Survivors include four children.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Lucile and Dode.
