The Rev Henry Blodget DDS, the first American Missionary to enter Peking China, died Sunday at age 77 at home 379 Park Place in Bridgeport where he resided with his son Dr Henry Blodget. He graduated from Yale class of 1848 and continued his studies in the Tale Theological Seminary. He was a native of Bucksport Maine. Daily Morning Journal and Courier New Haven May 26, 1903
