(1938 - 2017)

Joseph G. Dyzbalys, age 78, a resident of St. Nazianz, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital of Green Bay.

Joe was born on November 27, 1938 in the Town of Liberty, son of the late John and Esther (Karnitz) Dyzbalys. He attended school at Holy Trinity in School Hill and St. Gregory in St. Nazianz. On November 7, 1964 he married the former Genevieve "Gen" Mahloch at St. Gregory Catholic Church in St. Nazianz. Joe worked for Tecumseh Products until his retirement in 2001. After his retirement he worked part-time for the Village of St. Nazianz. He enjoyed camping, traveling, working on small engines or anything in his shed, and fixing Christmas lights in his special basement workroom. Most of all Joe loved spending time with his son, John.

Survivors include his wife: Gen Dyzbalys, St. Nazianz; his son: John Dyzbalys and his fiancée Jamie Sachse, Newton; one sister: LaVerne Kenneke, St. Nazianz; three sisters-in-law: Georgie Kohlbeck, Manitowoc, Karen (Dave) Carstens, Manitowoc, Bonnie Mahloch, Sheboygan; four brothers-in-law: Jerome Mahloch, Manitowoc, Jerald (Kay) Mahloch, Cato, John (Jeanette) Mahloch, Manitowoc, Jeff Mahloch and special friend Denise Bollinger, Tucson, AZ; special friend: Stan LaCrosse, Kewaunee; and a special niece: Missy Pelofske, Two Rivers. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; his mother-in-law and father-in-law: Anna and John Mahloch; an infant son: Terry; and infant daughter: Lori; one sister: Marion (Joe) Mainz; one brother: LeRoy Dyzbalys; two sisters-in-law: Carol (Bob) Voss, Mary Mahloch; three brothers-in-law: Joe Mahloch, Delmar Kenneke andVern Kohlbeck.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2017 at St. Gregory Catholic Church in St. Nazianz. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Patrick Nelson, SDS with burial to follow at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, May 12, 2017 at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz, from 4:00 p.m. until 5:45 p.m.
