Nicholas L Iacono, 67, of Brookhaven, PA, a warehouseman for the Franklin Mint, died July 5 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD.

Born in Chester, PA, the son of Nellie DeMeglio Iacono and the late MIchael Iacono, Mr Iacono was a resident of Brookhaven for 38 years. He graduated from the Pennsylvania Military Preparatory School in 1948 and served in the 11th Infantry Unit of the National Guard. He owned and operated Blackie's Bar and Grill, 8th and Lloyd Sts. in Chester until 1973. Mr Iacono was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Brookhaven Council 3876, and the Men of Malvern
Surviving are his wife, Eileen Ursula Conner Iacono; a daughter, Patricia E. Santa Barbara of Parkside; two sons, Nicholas L Iaconno Jr. of Utal and Michael P. Iacono of Upper Chichester; three brothers, Gennario Iacono of Brookhaven, John Iacono of Glen Mills and Michael Iacono of New Jersey; a sister, Maria Iacono of Exton; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Charity Catholic Church, Upland Road, Brookhaven.
Burial is in St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, Chester Heights
