Blankenship, Elvin Jack “Token”, a resident of Marbury Al, passed away on Wednesday May 10, 2017 at the age of 81. Funeral services will be held on Monday May 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Wood and Rev. Roger Dale Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Faith Baptist Church Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home directing. Mr. Blankenship is survived by his sons, Elvin Michael (Jonnie) Blankenship and Joseph Marcus (Sonia) Blankenship; daughter, Kathy D. Pruitt; brothers, Frank (Shelia) Blankenship and Edward (Alma) Blankenship; sister, Ruthie (Mack) Pittman; five grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be, Adam Wright, Joshua Pruitt, David Reynolds, Bill Blankenship, James Adair, Josh Abplanalp, Frank Blankenship and Corey Shiver. The family will receive friends on Monday one hour before services at the church.
