Joyce Naimy Loria of Sterling Heights died peacefully on May 8th, 2017. She was 82 years old. She was born on May 12th, 1934 to George and Julia Farah.
As a girl, Joyce attended Andrews School for Girls in Willoughby, Ohio. She was a great entrepreneur who went on to own two Hallmark stores. She was also an amazing Arabic cook, talented seamstress and a dedicated and loving wife, mother and friend.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Salvatore βSamβ Loria and her children, Camille Naimy, Mark (Cindy) Naimy and Michael (Adam) Naimy. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jessica, Ryan and Julia, her brother, Reverend Ron (Talitha) Farah, and Salvatoreβs three children, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Joyce is preceded in death by her first husband, George Naimy and her siblings, George (Dean) Farah, Evelyn (William) Stanley, and Lillie (William) Bodine.
Friends may visit at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks (between 14 and 15 Mile Rds) Sunday, May 14th, 3-8pm with Trisagion at 7pm. A Funeral Service will take place at St. Mark Orthodox Church, 400 W. Hamlin, Rochester Hills, Monday, May 15th at 10:30 am. Friends may visit at church beginning at 10am. Burial will follow in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
