CHAPLINE, ARTHUR SR., 57, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday (Dec. 21, 1989) of cancer at his residence. He came here in 1983 from his native Wellsburg, W.Va., where he was a welder for the National Steel Co. for 30 years. He served in the Army. Locally, he was a member of the Wesleyan Church of Pinellas Park. Survivors include two sons, Arthur Jr., Jacksonville, and Shawn, West Virginia; two daughters, Patricia Terranova, St. Petersburg, and Kimberly Chapline, West Virginia; his mother, Mary Virginia Chapline, Phoenix, Ariz.; three brothers; three sisters; and four grandchildren. National Cremation Society, St. Petersburg.
