I met Gabi in Denver in 1998 and we were close friends for a few years. She cooked some incredible German food. Sadly Gabi and I lost touch when we left Colorado. I think of her so often and I still have the sand dollar she got for me when she and her children went to South Padre Island on vacation. I heard from another friend that she had passed when she mentioned she was going to her funeral in Denver and this is the strange thing...I had no idea she even knew her. It's a small world. I wish I had known so I could have contacted her. Gabi died of Cancer.

She worked at various King Soopers in the Greeley area in the meat department becoming the manager at Marketplace King Soopers. Gabi enjoyed her garden, fishing, four wheeling and camping. She was passionate about her family and friends especially her grandchildren, she was a caring individual who was dedicated to her work. Christmas was her favorite holiday. She transformed the home into a Christmas wonderland with her Santa Clause collection.
