Raymond Napoleon Montgomery died August 15, 1995, at his home in La Sierra, Calif. He was born in Hillsville December 11, 1903, to George and Cora Montgomery.
He is survived by his wife, Irene, and five daughters: Dorothy Marie Gross, Nola Montgomery, Chris Richardson, Betty Dingle and Mary Matute; a step-son, Herschel Hughes. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and over 50 foster children whose lives he impacted.
A graveside ceremony was officiated by long-time friend and pastor, Calvin Osborne, on August 18, 1995, at the Crestlawn Cemetery, Riverside, Calif.
