Graveside services will be conducted at Algoma South Cemetery for Della Mae Nader on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Officiating the service will be Fr. John Himes of Trinity Episcopal Church where Miss Nader was a member. Visitation will be at the cemetery from 12:00 noon to service time.

Della Mae Nader passed away on Sunday, May 14 after a short illness. She was born in Marshall, TX on July, 8, 1922 to E.J. Nader and Betty Asaff Nader. Miss Nader resided in Marshall throughout her life. She attended the Marshall schools and worked for many, many years at Sam’s Candy Company before retiring. She cared for her parents and sister, Amelia, after retirement.

In addition to her dedication to her family, Miss Nader enjoyed traveling and later on, bingo at Marshall Manor. She loved listening to a good story, with a laugh and a smile at the end.

She is survived by her brother, Richard Nader of Ft. Worth; niece, Virginia Nader of Marshall, and many other loving nephews, and nieces, Ronnie Nader, Lillian Nader, Jo Ann Abdullah, Raymond Nader, Larry Nader, James Nader, Becky McKenzie, numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, her sisters, Rosa Lee Nader Thomas and Amelia Nader, her brothers, Ed Nader, William Nader, Tom Nader, Henry Nader, and Robert Nader.

The family wishes to thank the entire staff and all the residents of Marshall Manor for their dedication and kindness toward Miss Nader in the last several years of her life.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church and or the charity of the donor’s choice.
