Helen Rose Cluff Pate, 86, formerly of Bountiful and Logan, UT, passed away peacefully at home in Mesa, AZ, Wed. Jan 31, 2007, with family present, after a few months of declining health. Other principal residences included Chandler, AZ and a ranch at Florence, AZ. After her family was reared, she taught school in Soda Springs, ID for eight years. All of her siblings, Ivan, Carl Frederick, Harold, Anthon, Don, and Ruth Menlove, preceded her in death, as did her husband, Alma J. Pate, and four of their nine children (Rose Ann, Alan, Raymond, and Jeanne). She is survived by her children, Donna Galloway (Rodney) of Albuquerque, NM, Robert A. (Elaine Morrill) of Logan, UT, A. John (Deon Stocking) of Provo, UT, Alice Nelson (Stephen) of Mesa, AZ, and Maran C. of Mesa, AZ. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9th at Meldrum Mortuary (52 N. McDonald Street), Mesa, AZ. The funeral will be held 11 a.m. Sat., Feb. 10th at the LDS chapel, 618 S. Signal Butte Road, in East Mesa, AZ. A viewing also will be held in Logan, Utah, Fri., Feb. 16th at the Allen-Hall Mortuary (34 E. Center) from 6-8 p.m. The graveside service will be at Logan City Cemetery at 11 a.m. Sat. Feb. 17th.
