Grace Laura Blanger, 98, of Bremerton, passed away on June 10, 2013. Grace was born on Dec. 8, 1914 in Vancouver, B.C. to Hanford and Anna (McDonald) Gallupe. She graduated from Fairhaven High School in Bellingham. Grace married Alexander Blanger on March 24, 1934 in Bellingham. Grace was a member of Eastern Star Reliance and was an honorary Past Matron. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and painting.
Grace's memory will live on with her son, Alexander Blanger, Jr. (Joan) of St. Helens, Ore.; daughter, Joan E. Bauer (Frederick) of Bremerton; nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Thursday, June 13th at 1 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to Lewis Funeral Chapel.
