She was born Aug. 20, 1944, in Huntington to the late Richard and Mabel (Voght) Roebuck, and later married Wilson K. “Bill” Adams on Jan. 22, 1966, in Huntington. He passed away in 2011.
Surviving are her children Angela M. Altenhof, Donald D. (Tammy) Adams and Christopher K. (Lisa) Adams, all of Goshen and John R. (Rhonda) Adams of Millersburg; a brother, Rick (Carolyn) Roebuck of Columbia City; 15 grand and 12 great-grandchildren.
Preceding Bonnie in death is her son, Brian Adams, a grandson Aaron Adams and a brother, Donald Roebuck.
Bonnie served as a CNA and QMA for many years in several area nursing facilities.
After her husband passed, she remained as strong and independent as ever, attributing that to her Christian faith.
She attended the Goshen First United Methodist Church, LC, and enjoyed doing word search puzzles, getting her nails done and spending time with her pal, Luckey the Cat.
Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart is honored to host Bonnie’s Celebration of Life service at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 with visitation beginning at 11 a.m.
Brother Tony Brinson of the Goshen First United Methodist Church, LC, will officiate and burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery in Bristol.
Memorial donations may be given to the “Here Kitty Kitty” cat rescue in Elkhart.
