Preceded in death by husband Bill Darnell, daughter Patty Bailey, sons Joe Darnell and Finnie Darnell. Survived by daughter, Kathy (Joe) Shultz; son, Dick (Carol) Darnell; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty McCown of Springfield, VA.; brother, David Rankin of Dayton, OH.; special friend, Judie Haines; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 2-5 p.m., EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Ave., where funeral services will be held Monday 10 a.m. Rev. Mike Pratt officiating. Interment Glen Rest Cemetery.
