Lucy was a retired racing Greyhound just shy of her 16th birthday when I had to let her go. She was so stubborn, but I loved that stubbornness because it was so typical of her. She didn't want to leave us, and would have stayed until she couldn't move anymore, just to have me take care of her. Being an alpha, she was sometimes difficult but I learned how to work with her, and in time she became much more loving and adorable. Miss you forever, Lucy girl.
