Joseph Brogan of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00am Friday, May 19, 2017 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff, 400 4th Street. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Joseph Brogan was born July 21, 1932 in Vail, Iowa the son of Matthew and Clare (Aylward) Brogan. He attended school at St. Ann in Vail, IA. Joe served in the US Navy from 1951 till 1955.

He enjoyed all sports especially the Chicago Cubs.

Joe is survived by his wife LaVonne, his children Debra Jensen of Omaha, Ne., Patricia (Ron) Barnes of South Sioux City, Ne., Chris of Sioux City, IA., James of Louisville, Ken., Julie Smith of Sioux City, IA., Colleen (Lewis) Cobb of Correctionville, IA., Diane (Dan) of Onawa, IA., Jeff of Sergeant Bluff, IA., Craig (Danielle) of Los Angeles, Calf., Kevin of Sioux City, IA., two sisters Bonnie Tucker of Omaha, NE., Nacy Banducci, ten grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, brother Charles Brogan, five sisters Marilyn Brennan, Rhea Gawerecki, Jane Crampton, Leila Sawatski, Betty Kwasiewski, and one daughter Maureen Brogan.
