Fredrick Lanier, b. 1745, Brunswick Meherin, Va.; d. 12/1810 Pendleton, Anderson, South Carolina; married Mary Nance (1751-1806) and they had the following children:

(1) Darling Lanier (1774 VA-3/1807 Eddgefield, SC);

(2) Robert Lanier (1776-1837 South Carolina);

(3) Bird Lanier (1780 Brunswick Co., VA-7/21/1856 Oconee County, South Carolina), who married Mary (1794-1878) and they had the following children: Malinda Lanier (1717-1878), who married James W. Russell (5/20/1748 - 8/24/1844);

(4) Mary Lanier (1788-____);

(5) James Lanier (1799 Georgia-____) and Sarah Lainier (1769 South Carolina¡§C1844 Lowndes County, Mississippi).

3. Benjamin Lanier, Jr., born in 1747 in Brunswick Co, VA. See his page. Married-1st: Elizabeth Parker in Mecklenburg Co, VA, 11/27/1771; married 2nd to --?? Kenan, daughter of Owen Kenan, in Duplin Co, NC. Children were: Jacob Lanier, Owen Lanier, Benjamin Lanier III, Isham Lanier, Hosea Lanier.
