Everything was done for her that could be done by kind an living friends but God softly whispered, "well done thou good and faithful servant" and called her to that Mansion in the realms above where moth doth not corrupt; nor thieves break through and steal.

At the age of 18, Mrs. Turner professed her faith in Christ and joined the Baptist Church at Old Union and until death was ever busy at her Master's work. Her greatest enjoyment was gathering with her friends and neighbors in the old country church to sing the beautiful hymns, to pray and read her blessed old Bible.

She was born and reared near Cedar Crest, and lived there until December in 1944, when the family moved to Greenfield, IN, where she passed away. Her body was brought to the home of Mr. Turner's sister, Mrs. Daudie Gossage, near Monticello to await the preparation for burial. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Elza Anderson and the remains were laid to rest in the Morrow's Chapel Cemetery. Pall bearers were: John Crutchfield, Bill Craig, Willie Tuggle, Hubert Winchester, Lozier McKinley and Ernest Decker. Flower girls: Reba Gossage, Winifred Gossage, Ruth Abbott, Eula Tuggle, Mildred Meadows, Gladys Hicks, Ruby Hicks, Ruth Roberts and Mollie Pierce.

No more we'll hear her shout and sing,
No more we'll hear her pray.
No more her shining face we'll see
For she has gone away.
She's gone to live at home with Him.
To be an Angel there,
In that bright land of peace and love,
Where all is bright and fair.
The days are long our hearts are sad,
Our home is still and bare.
For now we know when we return
Dear mother will not be there.
But God who doeth all things well
Didst say we must be true,
And live to meet her over there
When He shall call us too.
Her husband and children.

CARD OF THANKS
We sincerely wish to thank all our friends of Wayne County who in any way assisted us in the death and burial of our companion and mother, Mrs. Kittie Turner. Also Mr. Lee and Mr. Dalton for their kindness. It was greatly appreciated.
Elmer Turner and Family.
