Randall Haze Turner, 74, of Faubush, KY died Saturday, May 8, at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital in Oxford, OH following an extended illness.
Born In Wayne County, KY, on April 9, 1919, he was the son of Kitty Zora Burton and Elmer Hayes Turner. He was a farmer and a member of Cherry Valley United Baptist Church in Hamilton.
He was preceded in death by his parents: his wife, Altona "Tony" (Johnson) Turner, whom he married November 17, 1951; a sister Mamie Roberts; and four brothers, Murl and Travis Turner and (infant) Rual and Arlen Turner.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Ray Turner of Eaton and Dennis Jay Turner of Douglasville, GA; four daughters, Doris Lowe of Logansport, IN, Georgiann Spencer of Eaton, OH, Brenda Bowling and Valerie Calhoun, both of Somerset, KY; 11 grandchildren; and one brother Marvin Turner of Sadieville, KY.
Funeral services were Monday, May 10, at the Chapel of Morris and Hislope Funeral Home, Science Hill, KY, with Brothers Arthur McFarland and Claude Robinson officiating. Burial was in Morrows Chapel Cemetery, Jabez, KY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Morrows Chapel Cemetery Fund.
