She moved to Lafayette, IN, in 1957 and graduated from Klondike High School in 1960. She then earned her associate's degree from Indiana Business College. On December 21, 1961, she married Gordon R. Myers. He preceded her in death on February 27, 1999.
Mrs. Myers was a self-employed tax preparer and notary. She was a member of The Church of the Blessed Sacrament.
She is survived by one son, Richard A. Myers (wife: Sharon) of Moyock, NC; two daughters, Deborah A. Myers of Lafayette, IN, and Janice L. Houston of Arizona; one sister, Sue Potts of Winter Park, FL; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Preceding her in death with her parents and husband are one daughter, Christine L. Myers, and a grandson, Joshua.
Private family burial was held at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
