Roy C. Lumley

On January 10, 2017, Roy C. Lumley passed away at the age 80. He was born on February 17, 1936 to Joseph and Myrtle Lumley in Marine City, Michigan.

Roy had a daughter, Debora. She passed away in 1991. Roy is survived by two sisters, Myrtle Smith and Joyce Shovan, and one brother-in-law, Donald Curtis and many nieces and nephews.

Roy is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Herbert, Joseph, and Edward and sisters Hazel Mitchell, Ruby Solgot, Mabel Chatterson, Charlotte Curtis and Doris Curtis, and nine nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to his nieces Lora Wallich and Cathy Coogan and their families who went to Tennessee to bring Roy back to Michigan where they took exceptional care of him for his last eight months.

The family will hold a graveside service on Monday May 22, 2017 at 11am in Woodlawn Cemetery, Marine City.
