Lucy Lee was married to Roy Hardy Blitch and mother of Billy Blitch. She is buried in the same plot as her mother, father, husband and son.

QUINCY - Lucy Lee Blitch, 98, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2002. The service will be at 2 p.m. EDT Sunday at Eastern Cemetery in Quincy, with the Rev. Glenn Mitchell officiating.
Independent Funeral Home in Quincy (875-1529) is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Blitch was a staunch devoted member of the Centerary Methodist Church during her lifetime. She loved children very much and taught Sunday school for many years. Mrs. Blitch made many friends and could point out where friends lived when she was taken for rides in and around Quincy. Everyone loved her for her graciousness and sweetness towards everyone.
She is survived by three nieces, Elizabeth Blitch Hinson, Sarah Lines Munroe and Dorothy Woodbery Lester, all of Quincy; a cousin, Harriet "Happy" Foster Qirardeau of Tifton, Ga.; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Hardy Blitch; her father, Albert Lefayette Shepard; her mother, Lucy Jones Shepard; and a son, Billy Blitch.
